Our light-filled home is newly renovated and designed for modern living, with spaces for relaxation, recreation, and professional workspaces while being family and pet-friendly and nestled amidst Seattle’s lush greenery.
You have the option to rent the entire home for your family or choose one of two separate and private units for your stay:
Upper Level:
Step into the main family room, where mid-century modern design sets a stylish tone and a record player, complete with Frank Sinatra vinyl, invites you to unwind. To the right, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms: the Retro Room with a queen bed and the Floral Room with a king. The modern bathroom features a deep soaking tub and an illuminated mirror. Each bedroom includes its own makeup station, premium linens, brand-new hybrid memory foam beds, cozy robes, luggage racks, ample hangers, and generous storage space.
The family room offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, featuring an electric fireplace, ample comfortable seating, and a Fire TV for streaming entertainment. Adjacent to the living area, the fully equipped kitchen is thoughtfully stocked for family meals, complete with modern appliances, premium cookware, a variety of spices, and all the essentials for home-style cooking. For your morning routine or an afternoon pick-me-up, enjoy the fully stocked coffee and tea bar, offering a selection of brews, teas, and all the fixings.
Just off the dining room and kitchen, step out onto a spacious deck that overlooks a serene forest backdrop. Perfect for entertaining or relaxing, the deck features plenty of comfortable seating, a gas grill for outdoor cooking, and twinkling party lights that add a magical ambiance as the sun sets. Below, gather around the cozy fire pit for s’mores, stories, and stargazing in a truly enchanting setting.
Gaze out over the backyard and discover a well-stocked shed filled with bicycles, child trailers, outdoor games, and beach essentials—everything you need for family fun and adventure. Venture further down the yard to find your own private entrance to the peaceful Thornton Creek. Keep an eye out along the way—you might just stumble upon a few hidden surprises!
Lower Level:
Step into your getaway through a charming, tree-themed family room that opens to a fully equipped kitchen—perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Unwind with a 50" Fire TV, dive into a good book, enjoy a board game night, or set the mood with the retro LP player and a wide selection of classic vinyl records.
Just off the family room is Bedroom 1, The Forest Room, where lush forest-themed wallpaper wraps you in cozy, woodland vibes. Down the hall, you'll find two more nature-inspired retreats—The Tree Room and The Wood Room—each thoughtfully appointed with a personal makeup station, plush robes, soothing air diffusers, luggage racks, and personal fans for your comfort.
A spacious bathroom with a glowing illuminated mirror sits conveniently between the bedrooms, along with a full laundry room stocked with everything you need for a carefree stay. This inviting unit blends comfort, style, and convenience—making it the perfect home base for your next adventure.

In our effort to create a warm, welcoming, and natural environment, please note that some of our bedding includes down feathers, and elements of our décor feature genuine cowhide.
We're also proud to embrace eco-friendly and sustainable practices throughout the home. To help reduce plastic waste, we provide Brita water pitchers instead of bottled water, encourage recycling of food and consumables, and choose not to use Keurig pods in favor of more sustainable coffee options. Every detail is designed with your comfort—and the planet—in mind.

Don’t want to pack all of your children’s supplies? We are child-centric with books, age-appropriate movies and games. Pack-n-play, booster chairs, and children’s plastic plates/sippy cups are available. Take the kids for a stroll to the park with our umbrella strollers or use the provided bicycles with two child bike trailer, bike seat and helmets.

If you love music, partake in our retro vinyl LP collection and CD’s. All TV’s are smart for your streaming needs, and each unit has a DVD player with lots of discs to choose from. Adult and children’s books and games are also at the stay.

Want to go to the beach? No problem, we have sand toys, beach chairs, blankets, a cooler, and umbrellas for your use.

For your comfort and convenience, each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, personal fans, in-room heaters, full-length mirrors, luggage racks, plenty of hangers, cozy robes, hairdryers, and vanity mirrors—everything you need to feel right at home.
For those sensitive to noise, we’ve thoughtfully provided earplugs in every bedroom to help ensure a peaceful night’s sleep.
You’re welcome to use the in-unit washer and dryer, fully stocked with all the necessary laundry supplies. An iron and steamer are also available to keep your clothing fresh and wrinkle-free throughout your stay.

The house is situated in a peaceful area with minimal traffic, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. While there is a separate guest level, we've invested in extensive sound-dampening insulation to ensure your space remains private, calm, and comfortable.
For those sensitive to light or sound, we provide blackout curtains and earplugs in each bedroom. You'll drift off easily wrapped in our cool bamboo microfiber sheets and cozy down comforters for a restful night's sleep.

We have a private entrance to Thornton Creek directly from our backyard. Look out for some hidden surprises along the way! If you need an easier route, there's a meandering path just one house away.
Imagine hiking the Thornton Creek trail directly from our backyard or riding our bikes to Victory Park, just two blocks away. Our neighborhood hosts various activities such as Food Truck Fridays, Easter Egg Hunts, and Chili Cook-Offs.
Take a stroll and visit one of the many little free libraries in our neighborhood or enjoy the walking path with your kids and dogs at Victory Heights Park.

Our home is centrally located with easy access to I-5 while enjoying a peaceful urban retreat with tons of amenities.
While located only 7 miles from downtown Seattle, we are a great central location to many of the major Seattle hospitals and healthcare facilities as well as University of Washington, Pike Place and the Space Needle.
Link Light Rail provides quick trips to the University District, downtown, Lumen Field, T-Mobile Park and the Seattle-Tacoma Airport.
